🌸 What to Expect
Now in its 151st year, the Warkworth Show is a treasure trove of traditional competitions, local talent, and good old-fashioned fun. Held in the breathtaking setting of the castle grounds, this one-day event brings together locals and visitors alike for a packed programme of entertainment and exhibitions.
Highlights of the Show
Horticulture & Floral Art
From dahlias to vegetable marrows, witness the best green thumbs in the region compete for trophies. The vibrant colours and delightful scents will fill the air, making it a feast for the senses.
Art, Photography & Handicrafts
Admire beautiful local crafts, inspiring paintings, and amateur photography capturing everything from coastal landscapes to quirky village moments. Each piece tells a story and showcases the talent within the community.
Home Baking & Preserves
Think chutneys, jams, scones, and showstopping cakes. It’s a foodie’s dream! Sample delicious treats and perhaps take home a recipe or two.
Children’s Section
With Lego models, decorated buns, artwork, and sunflowers galore, there’s plenty to keep young minds engaged. This section is designed to inspire creativity and fun for all ages.
Dog Show
Paws-itively one of the most loved parts of the day, open to all well-behaved pups! Watch as furry friends strut their stuff and compete for the top prizes.
2.5km Fun Run
Open to all ages, with medals and a great view of the castle grounds. This is a fantastic way to get active and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Live Entertainment & Food Court
From music to refreshments, there’s something for every taste. Enjoy local bands and delicious food options throughout the day.
The Show wraps up with an auction of donated exhibits at 4:30pm. This is perfect if you want to take home a floral arrangement, some garden produce, or a delicious homemade treat.

🚗 Parking & Accessibility
Parking is available in the field just past the Cricket Club on Morwick Road. The pedestrian entrance is just two minutes from the Show’s west gate. Signage will be in place to guide you.
The Warkworth Show is a dog-friendly event, though pups are asked to steer clear of food tents and marquees for everyone's comfort and hygiene.
